Tools from Darlac, the garden and cutting tool experts, now take pride of place in the The Gardener’s Garden Centre, the Coolings’ Group’s flagship store.
Included in the Darlac range available in store are pruners, loppers, shears, rakes and snips, perfect for the winter pruning season ahead. Visitors to the store will find popular Compact Pruner and Lightweight Shears that are perfect for taking on pruning and tidying work before winter sets in. The ever-popular Telescopic Gear Bypass Lopper will help gardeners reach taller tree branches, whilst the Fine Diamond Sharpener is perfect for rainy days indoors spent fettling tool blades to keep them in pristine condition.
The Coolings garden centre near Knockholt sits on a 14-acre site which features a production nursery, shop, restaurant, education centre, reservoir and more. The group is a family-run business started over 100 years ago, and over 65% of their plants are home grown at their on-site nursery at Coolings Garden Centre at Rushmore Hill.
In addition to their nursery and retail shop offerings, Coolings also operates an Education Centre at Rushmore Hill where they offer many horticulture courses, including the RHS Certificate in Practical Horticulture. Coolings aims to be a green retailer, and they recycle at least 90% of their on-site waste while also harvesting rainwater in two onsite reservoirs which hold the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools. These credentials make a perfect fit for the Darlac brand.
