It’s been a great summer for camping this year, and our trusty DP998 Camping Axe has been flying off the shelves as people have flocked to enjoy the great outdoors. Its compact design makes it ideal for keeping handy in the back of the car when you need to split light logs and branches for that roaring campfire.
We’re extremely proud of our product, and we truly believe that we’ve created a camping axe that’s the best in its class, so we’re delighted that the Darlac Camping Axe is included in this year’s GIMA Awards. We’re hoping it comes out a cut above all other garden tools – please keep your fingers crossed for us!
Long established as the garden industry event of the year, the iconic GIMA Awards are taking place on Thursday 20th October 2022 at The Celtic Manor Resort for a gala dinner celebrating gardening product and marketing innovation over the past 12 months. The judging panel for the 13 categories – which cover everything from garden care and landscaping to sustainability and social media – includes top UK garden retailers and journalists from all corners of the industry, who have had their final say on who is the cream of the crop of the UK garden retail sector out of over 200 entries.
We’ll be attending on the day and are looking forward to clinking glasses and networking with our fellow GIMA members. We’ll also be sharing a table with our friends Mr Fothergill’s, so regardless of the outcome we’re in for a memorable night of celebrating all things Darlac.
